    Unhappy Becomming more positive?

    As of now i've cut ties with most all my old buddies, because it felt as if all of them where bad influences on my lifting and my work-life.

    The only joy i experience is patting myself on the shoulder after a well done 60+ hour workweek or a bloodshot-eyes and pukeinducing workout.

    Yet i never feel like i'm efficient or thorough enough in anything i do, it's like i'm never realizing more then 80% of my potential.

    It's frustrating af, it feels as if my body refuses to keep up with my mind.

    Often feel as if the walls are closing in on me, as if something is going to give in.

    But uf my eyes aren't bloodshot and i cant taste blood in the back of my mouth it's like something is wrong, i suddenly feel like a lazy pleb.


    Not to mention the growing disdain i have towards most people, getting annoyed at their subpar workethic, accountability and skinnyfat bodies, it's like they are content with just floating by, day to day, without any goal or purpose, i just want to shake the lazyness out of them, even though their uselessness makes me feel better about myself not achieving my true potentional even though i recognize this as a crutch.

    When it comes to the ladies they all seem too lazy and dumb for me to be bat an eye at them.



    @proudmanlet how are you so positive?

    This is starting to manifest itself to something negative in me realizing my goals, my bitterness is leaking trough when i am communicating with bosses etc.

    Im ok with never being some happy go lucky pleb but i'd like to become someone who doesn't want to strangle everybody.

    You don't become positive or negative

    its written in your genes where your base rate happiness is, but you might be able to turn it off and on we aren't sure yet.

    My grandfather was a miserable pessimistic asshole for most of his life

    My father is somewhat miserable but seems as happy as he can be as of now, with a well-paying chillax job, loyal wifey and playing in a band.

    Whats funny is that i've inherited pretty much the exact personality of these two men.

    Only difference is that i recognize this and try to use the bitterness and anger as fuel for effort, efficiency and accountability.

    I dont just feel hopeless and drink myself to sleep lol, i rather go to sleep angry and wake up feeling like today im gonna royally crush every potentional challenge.

    But when evening comes i usually feel like i only accomplished 70% of what i should have, which i then use as fuel for the next day.

    I wasn't always this positive and tbh used to have a lot of anxiety/worrying about things and complaining etc, few years ago I started learning of ways to reprogram ur mind for positivity and relaxation techniques etc and very srs it changed my life and I am much more relaxed and go with the flow and positive like u see me now, the best info I have about how to do it I put in this thread http://www.numisc.com/forum/showthre...chieving-goals

    wish I learned this stuff earlier like back as early teen cuz would've made life a lot easier back then

    Happiness isn't something constant, rather cyclical. There's something WRONG if you are ALWAYS happy.

    With that being said, also recognize a positive mindset can be brought by many shapes/forms.

    Some examples, that personally work:


    * Singing out loud to a favorite song - while driving, or in a personal space.
    * Going for a long walk to clear your mind.
    * Drawing or even writing! Letting creativity flow.
    * Playing a musical instrument. I am an amatuer at my acoustic guitar but still enjoy strumming/plucking it from time to time
    * Having a meaningless off-topic, conversation with a loved one or a stranger.
    * Building something (anything!) virtual, phyiscal - I have a friend who's crafty with wood-working.
    * Stop constantly comparing yourself to other people/things. It is what it is.
