    DLTBB's Log Volume III

    I used to have a really in-depth and active journal on here which I stopped posting in. I kind of lost the lifting bug last year but I've finally got the fire back in my belly and I'm starting to take things seriously and have became really regimented again. I've been cruising for just shy of 2 months and I've just started a blast.

    I've just finished a 2 month (almost) cruise/light cut on 150mg Test E and 200mg Mast E.

    This is a mirror of a log I'm running on UK-M which I decided to post here too because I know I can get some solid input from some of the members.

    My blast started on the 18th of February.

    The plan for this blast is outlined below. This might change as I go along, nothing is set in stone. Yes, I know the doses are high but I have a lot of experience - I know my body very well and will do whatever I can to reduce the risk of side effects and keep myself healthy.

    Diet:

    My calorie intake will start in the mid to low 3,000's and will be tapered up gradually. My calories will come from mostly 'clean' sources, with meat, veggies, rice, granola, milk, whey and Greek yogurt being staple foods.

    I will occasionally have small binge sessions on 'unclean' junk food but that's just life, I'll post pictures of any tasty meals I eat.

    Training:

    I aim to train 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) on a body part split with 20 minutes of medium intensity steady state cardio (stationary bike) afterwards. If my schedule permits it I will get in the gym over the weekend too. I will listen to my body, if I feel worn out and weak I'll have a rest day or two.

    I will be trying to progressively overload on 1-2 exercises per muscle group per week by adding sets, reps, weight or time under tension. My sessions are very simple, mainly consisting of straight sets. I don't bother with anything too fancy like drop sets, super sets or muscle rounds.

    Goals:

    I want to gain a considerable amount of mass and strength while staying fairly lean and continuing to improve my fitness with regular cardio. I will be keeping tabs on my health through blood tests and regularly monitoring my blood pressure. If I can gain enough mass to instill the confidence in myself to step on stage I would like to do a show at some point at the end of this year or early 2017. I want to do all of this while still living a normal life, I won't be spending hours upon hours in the gym or missing nights out or eating out with friends just because I want to gain muscle - I'll find a way to implement that in to my routine and will gain regardless while enjoying myself. That's the main thing for me, to keep it enjoyable.

    I also want to continue doing at least 100 minutes worth of cardio in the gym per week and walk at least 7,000 steps per day.

    The first 100mg Anavar dose just went down my gullet and the first 600mg Test E pin just went in to the tensor fasciae latae muscle fellas - as smooth as butter.

    Got off to a stormer with chest and cardio.

    • 6 sets Hammer Strength incline press
    • 4 sets weighted dip
    • 3 sets high cable fly
    • 3 sets low cable fly
    • 3 sets decline DB fly
    • 20 minutes MISS (stationary bike)

    10IU Humulin R afterwards with a load of whey protein, Greek yogurt, strawberries, honey and granola.

    I munched down 16mg of Kaizen Ephedrine which I had lying around before training, it gave me a nice little kick up the bum considering I was quite tired beforehand due to an interrupted/light sleep.

    My plans for today are to watch United destroy Blackburn in the FA Cup this afternoon and then go out for a roast dinner with my Mrs later on.

    I'm feeling some mild PIP in my hip flexor from today's 2ml pin of Test E 300mg/ml already. I'm going to take a couple or Ibuprofen tablets and try to get my head down, I want to get a good 7 hours of sleep every night during this blast if I can help it.

    You'll probably think I'm crazy or experiencing placebo effects but I'm feeling bigger, stronger and fuller already. It's mad how much of a difference a few days in a surplus can make, especially while you're lean.

    I trained shoulders with a spot of triceps and some MISS afterwards.

    • 8 sets single arm converging shoulder press machine (pyramid)
    • 4 sets lateral DB raise
    • 4 sets rear DB raise
    • 8 sets seated dip machine (pyramid)
    • 6 sets V bar cable push down
    • 20 minutes medium intensity cardio on the stationary bike

    And that was that.

    Food intake has been fairly tame today, 1,000g (not a typo) low fat Greek yogurt, 250g granola, 6 table spoons of honey and a couple of shredded beef sandwiches. I'm going to pin the Humulin when I get home and have a big meat based meal (I'm not entirely sure what it will be yet) with rice, 60g of whey and then some more Greek yogurt with honey and granola before bed. I've drank around 3L of water and had some BCAA/Glutamine too.

    if you haven't realised yet I've recently become fucking obsessed with Greek yogurt and granola. It's a decent little protein source though so I'm not complaining.

    My potassium supplement arrived too.

    I managed to get a much better sleep last night. I was out like a light by 10:45PM and woke up twice briefly because I was having really vivid dreams, I soon drifted back off and was up for good at 6:45AM (15 minutes before my alarm was due to go off) so got myself off to an early start and had a shower and a drink. Feeling very refreshed with no DOMS whatsoever from today's workout. I'll be training some arms, abs and doing the usual 20 minutes of cardio later on. It's gonna be a good day. I had some mild acid reflux last night so I think I'm going to pick up some Omeprazole to keep it under control, it's always a bit of an issue for me when I eat a lot/more often.

    Today bloody dragged in work, it felt like I was in the office for ages, I was glad to finally get out and get in the gym by the end of the day.

    Training today looked like this:

    • 6 sets machine preacher curl (pyramid)
    • 6 sets weighted tricep dip (pyramid)
    • 4 sets DB hammer curl
    • 4 sets DB skull crusher
    • 4 sets reverse barbell curl
    • 4 sets overhead rope extension
    • 20 minutes medium intensity cardio on the stationary bike
    • Ab circuits and stability on the vibration plate

    I felt strong and full and the pump was really good. I wore a stringer for the first time in a while and looked decent under the gym lighting, I think I'm gonna stop wearing them completely from now on though because I feel like a Gymshark douche bag when I wear them TBH.

    A rough outline of my food intake for the day is below, I'm not tracking my calories at the moment, I'm just eating in line with my appetite. If I'm over-eating my body will let me know fairly soon and likewise, if I'm under-gaining I'll bump my calorie intake up, simple enough. My work slacks are feeling tighter already so I'm guessing I've gained a couple of pounds at least, mostly water of course.

    • 250g Greek yogurt with honey and granola
    • 50g whey, 400ml semi skimmed milk and 1 sachet porridge oats
    • 1 toasted bagel with butter and 100g beef jerky
    • Pulled chicken fajitas with guacamole, salsa and potatoes
    • 1 pack cashew nuts, 1 small yogurt with raspberries
    • Chicken curry with boiled rice and pitta bread
    • 250g Greek yogurt with honey and granola
    • 50g whey, 400ml semi skimmed milk and 1 sachet porridge oats
    • 3 litres of water, BCAA, Glutamine and potassium

    Apologies I can't be more accurate with my portion sizes but I don't weigh anything I eat so I have no idea for the most part. Again, I'm just going by feel and eating when I'm hungry at this point.

    I'm heading home soon to bang my Humulin R in and have a nice feast. I've got some more Ansomone on the way which should arrive tomorrow too.

    I'm having a chilled night with the Mrs and watching some Netflix tonight.

    My sleep last night was on the poor side again. I didn't feel as if I could get settled in bed with my Mrs, I felt restless and agitated so went and slept in the spare room and eventually drifted off, it was a fairly light sleep though. I woke up with a little bit of acid reflux too which was annoying, I think that was due to eating my last meal too late. Anyway, I've got some Diazepam on hand if needed but that will be a last resort, I don't like to mess with that stuff unless I completely have to - a single strip has lasted me a few months so far. I think I'm going to order some Omeprazole in to stave off the acid reflux, it's cheap and works really well, definitely worthwhile in my opinion.

    I felt exhausted in the morning but I perked up by midday once I got a proper meal down me.

    I trained back, traps and completed my usual MISS cardio.

    • 6 sets single arm machine converging pull down (pyramid)
    • 3 sets close grip cable row
    • 3 sets underhand grip pull up
    • 3 sets shotgun row
    • 3 sets hyper-extension
    • 6 sets seated DB shrug (pyramid)
    • 20 minutes medium intensity cardio on stationary bike

    I had a half day at work, hence the early post. Today will be my second lot of 600 mg Test E injections for the week. I'm injecting on Sundays and Wednesdays. I think I'm going to need more AI to be honest, I planned 12.5 mg on injection days initially but I think I'm going to have to double that realistically to keep my E2 in check. I'm quite sensitive. I always make sure to take my Aromasin with a meal that contains some fat as it is fat soluble.

    Food intake so far (and my plan for the rest of the day) below.

    • 250g Greek yogurt with honey and granola, Cajun chicken flat bread
    • 300g Greek yogurt with honey and granola, Smokehouse beef wrap, berry medley pot
    • 400ml semi skimmed milk, 50g whey, 1 sachet of porridge oats
    • Chicken fajita wraps, firecracker rice and side salad
    • 400ml semi skimmed milk, 250g Greek yogurt with honey and granola
    • 3 litres of water, BCAA, Glutamine and potassium

    I'm halfway through eating the list above as I'm posting this, I might throw a couple of other small snacks in here and there depending on how I feel over the course of the day.

    It'll be another chilled night for me tonight, United are playing in the Europa League but I'm guessing they're going to put a rubbish team out so it'll probably be boring. Other than that I'm hoping to get an early night and a nice deep sleep, I'm gonna take 10mg Diazepam before bed tonight so I can get a proper rest.

    A few brief observations.

    Cardio is already feeling a bit more difficult, I'm guessing this is due to a sudden influx of water weight from the high Test and calorie surplus.

    Even if I'm feeling lethargic throughout the day, I still manage to muster up a good bit of energy for my workouts with or without stimulants. I'm feeling some good aggression which I'm channeling in to each set and making the most of my sets rather than going through the motions like I admittedly do during my cruises.

    Libido is so so at the moment, I need some time to let the Test level out and then centre my E2 with Aromasin.

    I'm getting painful shin pumps any time I have to walk for more than 5 minutes (thanks a lot Anavar!).

    New bits arrived. Ansomone 40IU, Humulin R 300IU and glyceryl trinitrate (apparently good for pumps, just a tester).

    My sleep was miles better last night, I took 10mg Diazepam at 10PM and was out light a light at 10:45PM, I woke up briefly at 5AM but drifted off again within minutes until my alarm went off at 7AM. So that's a solid 8 hours. Still feeling a bit mellow and groggy from the Diazepam but it's nothing a bit of food and a sugar free Red Bull can't fix.

    And now we're up to date. Any entries from here on in will be posted as they happen, stay tuned boys, it's going to be a good one.

    I used them for a little while, they work to a certain extent, they will improve your sleep quality and increase your appetite a little bit but they are nowhere near as good as actual GH. You don't even necessarily have to use an FDA approved brand of GH, I've used black top Hygetropin and Ansomone and both have been really good.

    1) First time trying Humulin R, my only other experience is a very brief stint with NovoRapid. I can't comment on the advantages/disadvantages from a personal standpoint yet.

    2) I've been advised to go with a M/W/F or EOD approach by an experienced friend as to not mess up my natural GH production, I've also read that it's better if muscle gain is the main thing you're aiming for as opposed to fat loss where a smaller daily dose fasted would be preferred. Not just that but it allows me to use the full vial of Ansomone in one go rather than storing/refrigerating it overnight.

    3) Nandrolone makes me lethargic, Tren messes up my appetite and digestion and I've never really fancied Eq. I've been meaning to try a high Test anchored stack with GH for a while after reading Swiper's log on RX Muscle a few years ago. My sleep and appetite should be good with a high dose of Test, both of which are super important for growing.

    Cheers. Get back in to it mate, even if it's not bodybuilding you should do something to keep you active, running, cycling, cross fit, walking or whatever. It's good for your mind.
