    Dunkirk

Anyone seen Nolan's latest masterpiece? Incredible film, great practical effects, tense, well-written.

Makes you realize that the current generation is weak as piss and untested, as our grandfathers went through hell as they drove an evil regime into oblivion and then rebuilt the entire western hemisphere by the sweat of their brows.

The real WWII planes added a great to the immersion, and the actors are great. Another thing I like probably the most is the effect of time compression, with the events quickening towards the film's end, from one week, to one day, to one hour.
