it's almost totally speculatory at this time, and as such could be considered a ponzi

in order for these coins to have such ridiculous valuations, you either need new money constantly flowing in, or you need actual products which lend themselves to real world use

90% of this shit will never materialize. Fortunately normie money continues to flow in. This is just the tip of iceberg. I do think blockchain will be useful in the future though which is good. Won't have to feel as sleezy about it playing some zero sum game with other people trying to escape wageslaving same as me

I feel QE / low interest rates and the whole crypto boom are interconnected.

ROI is so shit on most things that people are willing to take the risk of the unknown and jump into crypto.
