    Online Geeklord bulgarian powerlifting

    this is my log for my personal use so grammar is gonna be way off and details are gonna be scarce

    bulgarian light with the powerlifts as recommended by eric bugenhagen, squats every day for a 2 rep max and rotating between bench and deadlift for 1 rep max for example today i did bench 1rm and squat 2rm tomorrow i will do deadlift 1rm and squat 2rm

    todays workout:

    bench 160kg x 1
    squat 150kg x 2

    todays SECOND workout:

    deadhang until failure
    band pull aparts 1 set as many reps as possible
    handstand pushups with feet against a wall because balance issues, fists on the ground while wearing boxing gloves for further elevation 1 set of 4 reps at 92kg bodyweight
    cable external and internal rotation 3 sets of 10-12
    band pullovers 1 set pump routine
    stretching chest, glutes and hamstrings

    Why such a strong discrepancy between your bench and squat? They're literally the same, what numbers are you looking to hit?

    Because I've been benching heavy for over 10 years but never really focused on the squat, now I'm looking to change that. Also I have long frog legs while 40% of my body is chest

    For bench my lifetime goal is 180kg
    For squat if I can get over 200kg for one rep im happy
    For deadlift I havent thought of any specific number, im just gonna see how far I can get

    I did 125 kg for a double paused and felt like I could have done more but for some reason my sternum hurt. For squat I'm at 115 kg x15 or something idk. Not too far off my best on either lifts and I'm under 85 kg.

    Lifetime goal for me is probably 150 kgx6 paused on the bench (whatever that comes out to)

    Squat probably like 160 kgx20.

    todsays workout:

    WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. No prs on squat or deadlift and i couldnt even replicate the 230kg deadlift from tuesday, I failed 3 times. I dont know why, maybe its because in my foolishness I decided to do todays deadlifts without shoes and that threw off my focus or maybe its because in my foolishness I decided to fap just before gym or maybe its just that I didnt have the strength in me this time, it just wasnt there today. at least I was able to hit 220kg during the warmup which is still better than before i started this program.

    on squat I was able to hit yesterdays 160kg x 2 but then i failed 162,5kg and felt so devastated that i had no choice but to call it a day and go home.

    however todays SECOND workout:

    handstand pushups with fists on the ground wearing boxing gloves 1 set of 8 reps at 92kg bodyweight - at least thats a pr for me so today wasnt a complete failure
    band pull aparts 1 set as many reps as possible
    cable internal & external rotation 3 sets of 12 reps
    cable pullovers 1 set pump routine
    stretching chest, glutes and hamstrings

    Bench 160kg x 1 felt hard enough and my shoulder started acting up so I didnt go for the 162,5kg this time BUT
    squat 162,5kg x 2 on the first try I FAILED but then I tried again and GOT IT

    Another horrible workout, no PRs on squat or deadlift. 220kg deadlift was easy as fuck but failed 3 times with 230. After that I stripped down to 180kg and did sumo deadlifts for 4 reps, I have never done reps or sets on sumo only singles (best was 210kg) so in a way thats a pr for me, a rep pr with 180kg. This of course is complete cope but it is what it is.
    I dont know how I got that 230kg last tuesday but I have it on video so it definitely happened, but I know I made a mistake when I got greedy and did 2 deadlift prs instead of just 1. I think at this point Im gonna have to forget about 230kg for a while and next time I will just go for 225kg and work my way up from there.
    On squat I failed 165kg x 2

    Todays second workout:

    to celebrate the 2017 xmas i decided to do 3 workouts today!!

    however since my regular gym is closed for the holidays i have to do today and the next 2 days in this other gym which is a cheap ass 24h commercial gym and the equipment is different here, the benches are hard and more slippery and the bars are cheap and bend more...so all in all i wasnt sure i was gonna do any prs here but i was pleasantly surprised as i will explain further in this post

    todays first workout:

    standing strict overhead press 90kg x 5
    bent over row 130kg x 9
    also did a little bit of zercher deadlifts just to remind myself of the correct form, 100kg x 1 and 130kg x 1 were both easy as fuck (last time I focused on zercher deadlifts i made it to 182,5kg x 1)

    todays second workout:

    bench press 160kg x 1 on the first attempt I FAILED but then I tried again and I GOT IT! yes it's still the same weight i've lifted before but it's still a pr in this gym with this weird equipment

    choice of music for bench press:

    squat 165kg x 2 oooooooohhhh yyyeeeeeaaahhhh finally a new pr!! before i started this program i tested my max squat at 165kg x 1 and now i did that for 2 reps, yesterday's max is today's double!

    Deadlift 225kg x 1!!!!! I did it!!!!! Finally on the road back to 230kg!!!!!!
