Why not? Marxism is great if youre already rich and powerful. If youre poor or middle class youre fucked.

Butt no way companies want larger tax
Sure they do. They want high tax and regulation...why...because they can buy off politicians to hand out loopholes, afford lawyers and accountants to manipulate the tax code in your favor, and stifle competition who cant afford to do those things.

Apple and Google buy up competitors all the time. Dont you think one of them wishes they could have got to Facebook before Cuckerburg became a billionaire? Now he has no reason to sell.

Plus don't they avoid paying tax?
Uh, yea, thats the point for wanting taxes as high as possible...they know they will avoid them.

Some companies havent paid taxes in years...its pretty sad that I pay more taxes for 1 second of work than GE has paid in decades.

EU has forced them to pay back some of it in 2015.

So let me tell you this:

Gimme a 1% effective tax rate for 15 years, and I'll gladly pay back the money later.

I run some small businesses, at one point, my effective tax rate was 70%.

    edit:

    just to push my point:

    in 2014, I was 14.000 times worse-off tax-wise than Apple's EU business.

Monopolies are BAD. Crooked governments enabling this are even worse.
