How hard would it be for someone to get a BS Electrical Engineering degree if their IQ is 105 +/- 3 ?

Is it possible if you put in the work and study ?

Being low IQ means you might need to study harder than someone high IQ (like me)

But it wont prevent you from attaining the degree so long as you put in the work

Highest math I took was college algebra and I didn't like it because I didn't understand the why behind the math. I didn't see the reasons why there was a need for inventing the language and what it was used for until I started taking economics classes. They wanted me to take calculus and I said nope and majored in something else. Thinking about going back to school and doing the ASU online EE degree since it will be free for me. I just gotta put in the time.

IQ is obviously biologically predetermined but a guy who score 105 pre taking an engineering degree will obviously score way higher after, need to work it pretty much like cardio/strength potential.

You will need to catch up on your math, definity need trig. To make freshman year easier best to have calc 1 before taking physics. If you dont like math don't bother with ee.

I actually had a psychologist refer me to another psychologist for learning disability test. Idk what it is called but it took me 5 hours and she wrote a 13 page report. That's how I know my IQ is 105 +/-3. She said my frontal lobe/ prefrontal cortex is shut down and I have a problem with executive functions. I want to do great things with my life. I know I can do something well. I'm just trying to find it. I have a hobby of creating guitar pedals and other things . arduono projects interest me too. Idk maybe anthropology would be better but I can't stand the postmodernism

EE is all math and problem solving. A lot of professors will give put problems on the tests that you have never seen before to see if you can put two concepts together and figure it out on the test.

In engineering, your degree will typically be derived from how hard you work rather than how smart you are. Unless you have a passion for electronics/physics/maths/team projects, then I wouldnt advise it personally, as you'll be less inclined to actually do the insanely high workload you'll have dumped on you week after week

calculus is going to be a major math component in EE and you'll have to take quite advanced calc courses.

Having said that, I just completed a software engineering degree and we had EE students routinely taking
programming classes with us too so yea ull be doing programming etc aswel.

Hard work will def get u the degree but good grades aren't guaranteed because i know a few friends in
engineering who worked hard for average af grades.

My SAT scores were not all that good. A couple of my friend who started the EE program with me had way better SAT scores then I had and they flunked out by junior year, I graduated with a 3.2 gpa. I don't give much weight to standardized tests and that would include the IQ tests.

The outlier isn't in IQ it's in temperament and personality. If a child is inquisitive it bypasses the need for that child to be reared in an educational setting to be high IQ, in other words if a child starts tinkering with electronics, mechanics, instruments, etc. even w/o parental influences they very well may grow up gifted.

But most kids are simply a function of their parents. Get one eccentric inquisitive kid though and his/her parents can be dumb as fuck and you'll still get a genius.

I had roomates in college in various forms of engineering...they basically spent every night during the week studying their asses off and doing homework then got obliterated on the weekends. Not sure what their IQs would be.

Hell of a life to live but they all had high paying jobs locked in before they graduated.

PS: LOL @ retard omega coming in here pretending he has a high IQ again which is something someone with a low AF IQ would do. Everyone knows you are a janitor.
