People with high IQs can still have weaknesses. If you love math you'll be fine.

Gonna graduate in this fall. currently on summer break + finished internship in june
My SAT score was 2010 (meh score but it isn't that bad)
Yes you can make it. uni is all about hard work and consistency. so that means never skip 8 am classes or classes in general. however EE is really hard and filled with annoying kids who think they're hot shit because they can write a few lines of code.

Trust me, no one looks at complex math for the first time and just gets it like that. They are either lying or they are a legit genius. Just keep doing it you will get it eventually

You'll need up thru calc 3, differential equations, linear algebra, engineering stats, Physics I and II which require calc prereqs, circuits, and some other shit before you even get to take major specific courses so be prepared for that.

I'm worried that when I take calculus I'm not going to understand the why/what it is used for and I'll get unmotivated.

Professors loved to hand wave things off and say "this is beyond the scope of the class" it is covered in a "later course" or "graduate class" just use it, it will be explained in said class. MSEE crew

If youre good at maths and physics you dont have to memorize anything but you probably dont, so its on your side

You dont have to stuff your head in math, physics and engineering to a lesser extent
