What bad things happen because of wealth inequality? Do you think its a problem? Could it ever get so bad that it would be a problem? Or should there be extremely rich and lots of extremely poor? Is that just kinda normal and we should accept it? I'm not sure what the alterntive/solution would be? Put a cap on how much people could earn? That sounds like communism to me.

I think wealth inequality is the symptom not the cause. Leftists want to believe it's the cause like it just occurs spontaneously which is bullshit. It requires consumerism, atomisation, globalism, and inflation. These things are products of liberal democracy, not a traditional homogeneous society.

There is obvious fluctuation but the difference between 1980-2000 and 2000-2020 is not even comparable.
