    Addicted to sugar

Any tips on how to stop craving the shit? I went for about a year with nothing sweet when I first started lifting and basically ate chicken, green beans and sweet potato every day, but now I can't stop eating junk food and sugars. My calories aren't extravagant, but I just want sugar all the time.

    Send help plz.

Lol, I have the same problem, it's just pure will power mate, nothing's going to help you...except maybe Orlistat or Sibutramine (don't take this please).

    Coke zero.
    Oats + whey + stevia.
    Walden farms products.

That's how I curb my insane sweet tooth.

I will try these. I bought stevia, but never used it for anything.

Is it sugar in general or something in particular? Every now and then I crave chocolate so I go for the 75% shit and have a little, it won't hurt massively to have a little here and there

Many candy and sweets. I work long night shifts so I end up craving the shit when I'm sat doing nothing at 4am.

only way to really stop craving it is to cut it out almost completely.

I cut out all desserts and candy for over a month and probably about two weeks in my cravings for sugar and cravings in general were pretty much gone. then easter happened. didn't even go crazy at first only had a few cookies which were overwhelmingly sweet. gradually got worse and worse and now I'm back to binging on sugar at least once a week and have cravings for it all the time.

going to cut it out completely again and keep that going as long as I can.

Don't eat it then lol. You can try to control your cravings by having "just a little bit" but that's saddistic and if you're anything like me then you'll just crave more and lose control. So if you're the kind of person that can't just have one scoop of ice cream or one cookie or one donut or whatever the fuck, then just avoid those foods completely.

By all means eat all the shit you're craving and whatever you want every now and then. Know what you can get away with. But keep your diet in check the rest of the time and avoid those foods that send you over the top.

Try to cut it out a little bit at a time, I think it takes a while to get over it. If you live on your own just start buying less and less of it. If I want something sweet I eat quest bars or other protein bars that don't have much sugar in them but are still kind of sweet. Another way to combat getting cravings is to not let yourself get too hungry, if you are really hungry you will be more apt to eat something higher in calories. This is just my experience.

No matter what your current weight, being active boosts high-density lipoprotein , or "good," cholesterol and decreases unhealthy triglycerides. This one-two punch keeps your blood flowing smoothly, which decreases your risk of cardiovascular diseases. In fact, regular physical activity can help you prevent or manage a wide range of health problems and concerns, including stroke, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, depression, certain types of cancer, arthritis and falls.

There are lots of alternatives for sugar like maple syrup, Agave Syrup, Coconut Sugar and Fruit juice etc. Try them, I hope it'll help.

I went 3 months on 30 grams or less of sugar a day. (Obviously a few cheat days here and there). Had constant and smooth energy levels all day. But saw no difference in my body composition. Wasn't cutting or bulking though so that's why. But good lawd it was hard as fuck to shop for food. I would look at the nutrition facts of everything I would buy, I usually would just put everything back on the shelf. Literally everything in the grocery stores in America has a shit load of sugar. Stopped doing it because it really limited my food options.

It wasn't that hard to do. Just don't have any sugary items in your house. If there is Gatorade or something like that in my fridge I'll have it. Easiest thing to do is just to only have complex carbs in your kitchen. That way when you have a craving you'd really have to go out of your way to go get some sugary foods.

Sugar isnt the enemy. Eat fruits instead of eating high calorie treats that contain tons of fat. If you dont have the mental strengh to stop stuffing your face, youre not gonna make it

You are not on enough gear and/or dont do enough activity, get on as much gear and cardio/exercise as you can tolerate with your weight training and it wont matter srs if you wanna go the dark triad route
